We are a project-based collective located in Canada, respectfully working on the land and home of the xÊ·mÉ™θkÊ·É™yÌ“É™m (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and SelÌ“ílÌ“witulh(Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

Clala Project (originally Clala Dance Project) was founded in Japan by dancers Tomoyo Yamada and Chihiro Nukuto. The passionate duo shared a vision of creating multidisciplinary performances that challenges society and explore new artistic possibilities. Following Tomoyo's relocation to Vancouver, Canada, artists Charlotte Telfer-Wan (Dance) and Ana Daria Vieru (Dance) joined Clala's vision and belief that art has the power to bring people together.

Currently the collective is run by Charlotte, Tomoyo and Sam Mason (Film).  We are committed to creating work that inspires and unites people from various walks of life.
